AbstractMelanoma, a highly aggressive skin cancer with a high mortality rate, has seen an increase in its incidence over the years. While there is a differential pattern based on gender, there is a lack of knowledge regarding efficient biomarkers that can aid in the early detection and management of the disease in patients. This study conducted a systematic review of melanoma studies following PRISMA guidelines. Subsequently, exploratory analysis and data normalization were carried out. Individual analyses of each study were performed, followed by a meta-analysis that integrated all the results, taking patient information into account. The findings have significantly contributed to a better understanding of the molecular mechanisms and developmental processes involved in melanoma. This, in turn, offers the potential for the development of novel resources for the precise detection and treatment of melanoma within the context of precision medicine.
