Job summary
 
 The Department of Physics at the University of Wisconsin-Madison invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in the areas of experimental or theoretical condensed matter physics. Successful candidates will connect with existing Departmental research activity in the fields of solid-state quantum information processing, strongly correlated materials, biomaterials, mesoscopic devices and quantum transport, low-dimensional electronic systems, quantum many-body physics, and topological materials. Candidates must have a proven track record of innovation and high-impact research and are expected to build a vigorous, well-funded research program with international profile.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Ph.D. in Physics, with specialization in condensed matter or quantum condensed matter physics.
A minimum of 1 year of postdoctoral research in experimental or theoretical condensed matter physics is required.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Cover Letter/Statement of Interest;
- CV with publications;
- One document that contains both: Research Statement and Teaching Statement;
- A Diversity Statement addressing past and potential contributions to diversity and inclusion through research, teaching and service.
