Lecturer

"We aim to appoint two Lecturers (UK equivalent of USA Assistant Professors) to enhance and complement our activities in observational astrophysics. Lancaster University seeks candidates with an outstanding research profile. We expect to make one appointment related to gravitational wave / multi-messenger astronomy and one related to the exploitation of major facilities such as JWST.

You must have a strong track record of conducting internationally-leading original research, and demonstrate potential for excellent teaching ability, including the potential to supervise graduate students. You should demonstrate ability to attract external grant income to support your research from a range of sources."
